Sandy Lane primary School joins the Greenshaw Learning Trust

On 1 October 2022, Sandy Lane Primary School opened its doors as the latest member of the Greenshaw Learning Trust. Sandy Lane Primary School is a school for children aged 3 to 11 years old in Bracknell.

After consultation with the local community, the Governing Body of Sandy Lane agreed that becoming an academy and joining the Greenshaw Learning Trust would ensure the school continued to improve.

Will Smith, CEO of the Greenshaw Learning Trust, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Sandy Lane into our family. The Trust is well-established locally and we look forward to working closely with the school community to ensure that every child fulfils their potential now and in the future.”

Jenny Sachar, Chair of Sandy Lane Primary School’s Governing Body, commented: “We are delighted to be part of a family of schools, that share the same values, whilst embracing the individual character of each school.”
