Widden Primary School joins the Greenshaw Learning Trust

Today, Widden Primary School in Gloucester becomes the latest school to join the Greenshaw Learning Trust.  

Governors and school leaders had been carefully considering the future of Widden Primary School in Gloucester for some time and concluded that it would be in the best interests of the pupils, parents, staff, and wider community for it to take advantage of the closer collaboration and stronger support gained by being part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust. 

Will Smith, CEO for the Greenshaw Learning Trust, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Widden Primary School into our family and have already been working closely with Mr Hill and the wider school community. We are ambitious for all of our schools and their pupils, and are committed to giving every young person at Widden the opportunity to fulfil their potential now and in the future.”
