Camilla Douglas is appointed as new Headteacher for Brakenhale School

We are delighted to inform you that Camilla Douglas has been appointed as the new Headteacher for Brakenhale School from 19 February 2024.

Currently Deputy Headteacher at Park House, another school in the GLT family, Camilla knows GLT well and is ideally placed to continue to build on the successes at Brakenhale. 

She also brings a wealth of experience from outside GLT, having worked in senior leadership roles at Capital City Academy, John Madejski Academy and the outstanding Reach Academy Feltham. She has a proven track record in school improvement and believes in developing staff through effective coaching and a supportive environment. 

Izzy Ambrose, GLT Director of Secondary Education and part of the panel of school governors and Trust leaders that appointed Camilla says: “I am delighted to welcome Camilla to our team of secondary headteachers. I very much look forward to working with her to continue to build on Brakenhale’s successes and to drive further improvements."
