Applications for admission to Reception

Applications to Reception at Robinswood Primary Academy are co-ordinated by Gloucestershire County Council.

Applications for admission to Reception at Robinswood Primary Academy must be made by January of the year of admission to the child’s home local authority on their Common Application Form, naming Robinswood Primary Academy as a preference on the form.

Applications must be made by the parent. Parent refers to the person with ‘parental responsibility’ for the child or the child’s designated carer. Where the applicant is not the natural birth parent, this should be indicated on the application form.

Applications may be made online for Reception places here where comprehensive information about the admissions and application process is available. Applications for primary school places must be made no later than 15 January. 

If you are resident outside Gloucestershire, you should apply through your own local authority.

The consultation for the proposed amalgamation of Robinswood Primary Academy and Moat Primary Academy is currently in progress.  Should this proposal be approved, applications for entry to Reception in September 2025 to Robinswood Primary Academy will be affected.  For further information click here.
